His work with NSSN <\/em>has had a profound influence on North American Motorsport, as attested by the number of awards he has received over the years.<\/p>\n

Economaki’s daughter, Corinne, is the magazine’s current Publisher, but this week came the announcement that the print edition of the magazine would cease after the 23rd March 2011 issue. For many people in the business this represents the end of an era. 77 years is not a bad innings, but for Chris, a familiar figure at all the big races until recently, this must be like a death in the family.<\/p>\n
